Privity of Contract-合同的相對(duì)性

Definition:

The privity doctrine provides that only the parties to a contract can enforce the terms of that contract. A stranger to the contract, generally cannot enforce the contract, even if the contract, if performed, would have conferred a benefit upon him. Contracts do not give rights or obligations to third parties.
